At Edgewell Personal Care, we know and care deeply that period poverty is an issue in Canada. Many Canadians who menstruate struggle to pay for feminine wellness products. This impacts their health, participation in activities such as school and work, and women’s mental wellbeing.  EPC aspires to help address period poverty in Canada, with the goal of ensuring our products get into the hands of women that need them most.

To that end, since 2023 Edgewell has partnered with Women’s Shelters of Canada and Food Banks of Canada, donating over $100,000 retail value of Playtex tampons, Stayfree, Carefree pads and Carefree liners annually to help fight period poverty. We strive to contribute to the wellbeing of women and girls in need.
